Momentary Garden, Tokyo. Photopolymer gravurePhotopolymer gravure 1/7 VE30x40 cm including mount£150 + £15/20 postageMy work explores the world at microcosm and macrocosm level and invites viewers to consider notions of scale and viewpoint. Photographic or printed images are altered to create miniature worlds as if viewed under a microscope or to mimic the vastness of aerial photography. More recently my work captures fleeting moments in the natural world and the play of light and shadows on water and natural structures like this print taken in Tokyo.Philippa Drummond is a teacher and Creative Education Consultant who works primarily in the mediums of photography, printmaking and artists’ books. She has a BA (hons) Design 1st Class, MPhil. in Public Art and Design and a PGCE in Secondary Education.
