My work is informed by my surroundings, history and stories from my youth. It takes elements from the spaces we inhabit, resulting in works that feel familiar and unreal. I make an attempt to describe the human condition, resulting in imagery that reflects on the human experience in the world we have created.
Born in Arbroath, Scotland, I studied at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen and graduated with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art. I enjoy experimenting with materials and techniques to create images on paper, canvas and board and for the last two years I have been focussing on relief printmaking.
