My work is an outward expression of my life, experiences and mental processes. I use jewellery to explore how I interact with and make sense of the world, creating wearable art that communicates personal experiences. My current collection "unmasked" relates to my recent identification as autistic, and the process of discovering who I am beneath the mask I have created to survive in a world which is not designed for people like me. This brooch series expresses the vulnerable and beautiful process of unmasking, and exposing your true sensitive and different self to a world which may not understand you.
