Alexis Mitchell-Taylor is a jewellery designer based in Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2021 with a BA Hons in Silversmithing and Jewellery. Her work is inspired by recurring repetitive patterns in nature, more specifically underwater forms. Using mixed materials such as silicone and resins she wants to explore transparency, weight and texture, this is an integral part of her practice. She is currently working towards finishing her graduate collection, delayed by covid, at the Precious Metal Workshop in Edinburgh where she is the graduate in residence.
