DeAnne Frost (aka DADA FROST)’s work explores ideas based on geometric shapes and colour. Using screenprint as a tool to play with colour, overlays, simple graphic shapes, joining edges together, turning the paper around until she likes what she sees. Until the physical printing happens, it is always open to change which allows the freedom to make spontaneous decisions, using instinct to form the final composition. Printing like this allows lots of options to experiment without having to re-expose screens. This method results in small editions or unique one-off prints.
