My work focuses on intimacy, kinship, comfort, touch, and connection. I am constantly investigating how we interact with one another, how we support and care for each other, and how we grow apart or grow together over time. The forms I invent - and the ways that they interact with one another - strive to demonstrate human feeling and empathy. My work speaks about the interconnectedness we need and yearn for. It speaks to touch and attachment. My drawings pull inspiration from forms found in the body and in nature. Most recently, my focus has been on tectonic plates and bodies hugging.
