Through my work I explore colour, texture and the drawn line. As each image develops it takes on its own life, often to push forward its own story. I am challenged and excited by the variety of mediums available. I am at heart an oil painter but will often use mixed media. The majority of my work is on wooden panels.
Morag Young is a Visual Artist based in The Highlands of Scotland.
She attended Leith School of Art for 3 years studying Drawing, Landscape and Painting.
Abstracted landscapes , flowers and people are brought to life through mixed media and oil paintings.
