My work documents everyday scenes captured in the landscape around me. I am drawn to the corroding materials, the plastic wrapped around fences, the evidence of everyday life, of industry both present and past, of passing visitors blown in for the season. My work focuses on the ordinary, the everyday, the effects of changing industry on a rural landscape. With a focus on textures and details, I hope to capture moments of beauty and stillness in these snapshots of life whilst creating a narrative of day to day life and industry on the north coast.
