Anupa's work deals with the ways in which we inhabit the world, our interactions with each other, nature, and the built environment. She looks for that moment of human connection, that instant when you know you are part of, or have witnessed, something extraordinary.
These subjects open up a bittersweet nostalgic journey which I dip into for imagery.
Anupa is an Indian-born artist based in Scotland, working predominantly in the field of printmaking. She graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2008.
