Susie's work encompasses the monumental and the miniature. She paints and writes on everything from vast canvases and walls to tiny artist books and wood panels. Sometimes text and painting coexist, sometimes they appear separately.
With degrees from St Andrews and the Courtauld Institute of Art, Susie began her career as a book editor before specialising in calligraphy and painting. She now combines commissioned calligraphic work with the pursuit of her own work and regular exhibiting. She is represented by the Open Eye Gallery Edinburgh.
